"Born In The U.S.A." by Bruce Springsteen

Bruce Springsteen produced the song "Born In The U.S.A." in 1984. The song reflected the views of some Veterans from the Vietnam war. When the veterans from the war came home they found it hard to find jobs and received few benefits. They felt hopeless. The world they new had changed while they had been gone. It was hard for them to get back into the flow of things. This song was used in the 1984 presidential campaign election. The song was misinterpreted and was used to show patriotism for the United States and the war. Bruce Springsteen later reproduced an acoustical version of the song to give more emphasis on the true meaning of his song.
